During an abrupt move, my plants were left behind. They were given little or no care by the current resident of my former home, and slowly wilted. I documented the process of returning to that home, uprooting the plants, and potting them.

For several days the plants and printed photographs of their transition were formally displayed indoors with gallery lights. The bright white space offered no nourishment as they wilted and struggled to adjust to the pots.

Afterwards, I moved the plants once again to a nearby forest and filmed myself suspending them and my body as the sun set. The resulting video lasted just over and hour and loops constantly.
